Oavik Capital

Oavik combines active investment management with select advisory work, bringing an owner's perspective to its investments and engagements.

Oavik was founded by Ørjan Svanevik in 2008 to provide hands-on ownership advisory and management services to active owners in energy, aquaculture and technology.

Oavik was the investment manager of the Energy Growth fund, a key owner in Rignet, SPT Group, NCA and IOS. The fund generated a net gain of about NOK 1 billion for its investors – a 3x return on invested capital and a 22% net IRR.

We work closely with owners, boards and management, bringing speed and energy to the development of shareholder and societal value. We have been instrumental in driving transitions in well-established companies across traditional industries, software and scalable technologies.

We have deep experience in complex situations, particularly where financial and industrial perspectives must be combined, and we take ownership of delivering agreed results.
